Show & play a Cruise
The logbook is splitted in cruises which are the main part in SailAway. So each cruise holds a specific area of your logbook. You can replay those cruises in the iPad version and share them with your sailing friends with both version of SailAway.

Map Library and Sharing
In SailAway, maps are not nautic charts, but offline maps based on OpenSea Map, on which you can assign your location with the logbook entries. In the iPad Version we support also all the nautical charts of the NOAA. All those charts (over 2000) are also available in SailMaps. SailMaps is an offline nautical chart viewer which will also be part of the upcoming SailAway for the iPad, but also as an independent product. 
SailMaps
SailMaps is the first NOAA® chart viewer for the iPad. You can download and install over 2000 nautical charts for free from the US. The following areas are included: Atlantic Coast, Gulf Coast, Pacific Coast, Alaska, Great Lakes. The entire catalog is stored on your iPad and you download and install as many charts/maps as you want for later view and use.
